Miner is a Backpacker job focused on ore knowledge, metal processing, blunt and axe combat, and defensive setup tools. Ore Knowledge improves special drops from rock-type monsters, while Advanced Metal Refining, Craft Metal Repair Kit, and Item Refining provide the job's crafting utility.
Combat options are mostly short-ranged: Merciless Blow, Banishing Blow, Rock Sling, and Mud Sling cover direct damage and debuffs. Iron Fortress is the main defensive stance, but it drains SP over time and ends when the stance is broken.

Ore Knowledge +
Enables special drop checks when defeating rock monsters. Matching knowledge lets the monster use its special drop table before falling back to common drops. Stealing-style skills that call the same knowledge check can also use the special drop table when this knowledge matches the target.
